MissyP89 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest your weary ones. Bless your dying ones. Soothe your suffering ones. Pity your afflicted ones. Shield your joyous ones. And for all your love's sake. In the name of the father, the son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Just wanted to say that I think this is absolutely lovely. I need to learn it.
MissyP89 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 And for Brianna, for Millie, their doctors and all those who love and care for them, I pray that You might surround them with Your Mercy, Lord. Be close to all of them, and all of us, especially in our time of need. Amen. It's eating disorder awareness week. Pray for those who are trapped, recovering, and free.
BarbTherese Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 For all who may be sick or suffering in any way Hail Mary, full of Grace, The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen
Marie-Therese Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 How did I miss this thread? Keenan, you rock. Blessed, Immaculate Virgin, by your appearance in the Grotto of Lourdes many have been cured of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. Mother of Mercy, Healer of the Sick, Comforter of the Afflicted, you know our needs and sufferings. Look upon us with compassion. We come to you with confidence in your maternal intercession. Obtain for us, from your Divine Son, O Loving Mother, the intentions for which we pray. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us. Amen.
