Actually my family lives in the area -I'm a Spaniard and a Basque myself- and I'm delighted to read about the background of this monastery. Also the story of Sr. Miren the novice, so special to me -btw the name MIREN is Mary in Basque language-. My sister lives in San Sebastián and they celebrate the Novena of the Immaculate as something very special. I usually join with them in prayer from the distance.
