I wonder what Slappo will think when he comes back and finds that his thread about his wedding turned into a discussion about Scrabble.

I am killer at Guess Who though. Also Settlers of Catan. I could go pro in Settlers of Catan.

Is "Settlers of Catan" some kind of obscure Canadian game? It sounds sort of demonic (or maybe Mormon).

Candyland is not a game of complete chance. That's like saying poker is a game of chance. If you play seriously it's not really a game of chance at all.

With that said I have not played Candyland seriously in over ten years.

It's all spinners and cards with colored squares... no choices for players at all.

If not demonic, then pagan. Wiki sounds a lot like Wiccan. If you are good at this game, it may explain a lot.

Although the version they're talking about appears to make babies with words. I haven't played that one.

Even though I use Wikipedia it a LOT, anything with "wiki" in the name sounds vaguely related to witchcraft to me. (I think it's because "wiki" sounds similar to "wicked"). I still use applications that include the word "wiki" but, even after all this time, I still stumble over the word.

he's married ... his wife does the thinking now....

Truth. I wonder if Slappo realizes it yet, or if Mrs. Slappo is waiting until after the honeymoon to break the news (if Slappo hasn't figured it out already).

And, if they didn't know about Scrabble before, they should have figured it out by now.

When Rexi gets married (assuming he isn't already--I've never asked), we should all chip in and buy him a Latin version of Scrabble for a wedding present.

We'll know when Rexi gets married. I'm sure he'll tell us all about how awesome the blessing of the bed went.
