I don't really remember how I came here. I'm sure someone, such as DS or Vee, who were the first two I met in chat, would know. But I think I found mention when searching Catholic stores via Google ( ) or mention on Catholic Forums, which I left due to a freaky stalker-like guy. I wasn't there for that!

In the year 2000, after a conversion experience, I did an extensive search for "Catholic, hip-hop" and found Phatmass. Thanks to dUSt for stating that hip-hop was his favorite music of choice! Coolpope.com! Although there was no "Catholic hip-hop" movement at the time, i found something else I was looking for--a community of vibrant, orthodox Catholic young people that I could relate to. And sure enough the hip-hop followed soon after.

Someone had nominated Phatmass as one of the best catholic forums in the OSV last summer. I was bored at work (slow day, I guess), so looked on the site...After a few days lurking around VS, I went to a final profession of vows and joined when I got home! I was tired of being the only discerning fish in my sea. Now the sea's huge and I love it!
