BG45 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 At stump the priest after Mass on the Grass, I asked why God made the platypus. Father didn't know, but transitioned it to a thing on evolution.
HopefulBride Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 This is actually a thing? Stump the priest after mass on the grass?
missionseeker Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 He made the platypus to 1) Show us that He has a firggin' amesome sense of humor 2) Give us something to laugh at 3) Give us proof of His existence because something like that could only be created 4) Make us ask him why he made it.
brandelynmarie Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Ok. Not quite a platypus. It's a beaver. It's Canadian! BG45 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Mish got the answer essentially lol, that and then we talked about evolution. Yep HB; we play it every semester after Mass on the Grass that we get diocesan permission to hold as a witness to the university community. It's always amazing to me how many people who normally would make snide remarks about Christianity tend to go quiet as they walk by. We had one guy yell something, but other than that, everyone walking by was nice. One guy was playing music really loud as he approached and turned down the volume dramatically as he walked by so as not to disturb us!
Clare~Therese Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I want a platypus for Christmas. They're so cute. I don't actually want one. OR DO I.
