I am very happy to tell you that their dear Mother Prioress made it very clear to one of their benefactors that age is not a "deal-breaker." They are willing, and have already done so, discern with each individual on a case by case situation. This very often is the situation with orders; I can think of only a few who absolutely refer to budge regarding age. With that being said, it never hurts to try. Follow your heart and the whisperings of the Holy Spirit. If you do have a vocation to a certain place, you will be surprised how things really do fall into place.
