das8949 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 How lovely!!! She does look truly at peace and content!
Lisa Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) Georgie, usually these things are fine. Their comments mostly had to do with things that people hadn't already posted (super private information, etc.) Would you feel comfortable sharing her new name? Edited December 7, 2011 by Lisa
GeorgiiMichael Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Well, I wasn't there, so I'm going from what Facebook is telling me, but her name, transliterated into English is Sr. Maria Asteron Dodeka.
Lisa Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Georgie, thanks for letting us know. *For some reason, I can't edit my post, but I hope I wasn't out of line, and that I'm appropriately interpreting the moderators' guidelines about respecting each other's privacy. Sorry if I was.
i<3LSOP Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I am so happy for her. She look so joyful and peaceful and filled with the Holy Spirit!
savvy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Thanks for the picture Georgi. She does look so happy.
LaPetiteSoeur Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 She looks so happy! Yay TB!! It was such a long journey for her; I'm so glad she's finally where God wants her to be!
LaPetiteSoeur Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 She needs a religious tag now, so if she ever comes back (just to visit, of course, not to stay!) then we'll be ready!

GeorgiiMichael Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 And just to clarify, that is not me in the picture, that's a seminarian friend of mine who was able to go to her investiture.
Basilisa Marie Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) OH MY GOSH I AM SO EXCITED AHHHHHH THANK YOU GEORGIIMICHAEL. I was quite sad that I wasn't able to fly to DC myself for it, since I was her sponsor when she entered the Church. But finals prevent me. So those pictures make me SUPER DUPER HAPPY. Sr. Mary Twelve Stars. So excellent. Edit: Oh, and I don't know if it matters, but I know she wouldn't mind letting you guys know her new name and posting the picture.
