They have a sister community in the US, I believe it is Westfield, Vermont. They are part of the Solesmes Congregation.

I know this was a while ago but I found out why it is! It's not to do with being a consecrated virgin, at the celebrations of her profession she took part in Irish dancing, hence the green sash pinned to her habit.
