Sisters Picture Thread

[Sister Marie]

We often see the beautiful pictures of religious praying, recreating, and smiling at the camera. Those pictures are lovely and realistic but only portray part of the call to religious life. Religious women are called also to radically proclaim the Gospel by their lives and their work. It's not as glamorous but all the praying and fun mean nothing without works.

So... how about some pictures of Sisters at work - with the poor, the uneducated, the sick... Sisters in general getting their hands dirty for the Kingdom of God!

This is a sister from the [b]Society of Nirmala Dasi[/b], resident in the Catholic Diocese of Thrissur in India. They care for many poor, destitute, and marginalized.
