People in our society don't like it when things are put bluntly but Rush is fluent in bluntness. It's unfortunate that out of his entire monologue, the only thing that will be remembered is the word "silly sally". While that judgement call was inappropriate, everything else in his speech was spot on. I don't always agree with Rush but if you listen to him regularly, you learn to get past the rough exterior and find a lot of good things underneath. Just my opinion. As a man who makes money by trying to get people to agree with his views, he needs to say things in a way that doesn't turn his listeners off. One can be terse [i]and[/i] tactful. The only distasteful thing was the unfortunate use of the word 'silly sally'. Saying that she's been having so much sex that she can hardly walk, asking who bought her condoms in junior high, and offering to pay for her contraceptives if she provides him with porn was just insightful political commentary.
