Oh yeah! Our office's first Fax! This is the ONLY picture I could find of it... and it is from the old Lou Grant TV show. Animal (the photographer) is sending a picture using the cutting edge fax tecnology -- you inserted the headset (is that what we called it?) into the fax and it took only about 5 minutes to send a whole page... We thought it walkd on water!

Before we got the huge camcorder that made one look like a news camera man we had an 8mm camera.
I don't remember the camera, but I do remember watching the projected footage on a wall. No sound but the sound of the projector, and the highlight of the show was when the film got stuck and the frame melted, thus you saw the image turn brown and disappear.

In school, up until about 3rd grade we used projectors to watch films. For sound we had to use a separate cassette.

Those are great memories, Max... I remember the same with the film strips... except that ours came with 33rpm records!

I also remember all the kids trying to make rabbit ears into the light path when the projector was acting up.....

I remember watching these guys and following world class wrestling. we all knew it was fake, but it was better than a Spanish novella!!

SAdly, this family suffered sooooo much tragedy!!! only Kevin is alive today? I think? All of them committed suicide and/or died tragically. sheesh... May God rest their souls...

As a small child, I remember Baron von Raschke and his claw. It was SO funny to see the fear on his opponents face when the Baron went for the claw.
