Because she has never been a religious, she entered formation (as Sr. Rosalind Moss) with the Visitation Sisters. That order has played hostess to several foundresses because of their cloistered retreat capability. The formation program also has to be written, so that the nuns/formators know what to teach. They have recent candiddates received as postulants, novices, and two sisters made Temporary and Solemn Professions this year. My understanding is that while they have a school, they have very limited involvement with it; basically they are a cloistered monastery. (They don't do boarding, but having an attached school isn't anything terribly new for the Visitandines, by the way.... I was fascinated when I read an autobiography of St. Margaret Mary that for a while she was mistress of the young girls who were attending school/boarding in her convent.... 400 years ago!) And... I think they could use the encouragement of comments and 'thumbs up' for them -- I get the feeling they haven't been getting a lot of traffic on their blog...
