The 2011 pardoned turkeys "are no longer with us," says Mount Vernon spokeswoman Melissa Wood. "Apparently birds bred for consumption don't last too long."
The birds have been euthanized and the whereabouts of the delicious remains are classified.

I think the President is, as most Americans are, willingly self euthanized to anything truly sacred, with the vacuum of said euthanization filled with ego and worship of self.

i really expect nothing more of him.

It does make one wonder, though... how many Catholics audibly laughed along with the President in that video? I mean, if we are truly going to be scandalized and such...

That said, do I think the President was cackling in delight the morning before this blasphemy, thinking 'What, oh what could I do to manifest my sheer hatred of God, and specifically the Catholic Church?"?

No, I really don't.

Do I think it was in the poor taste? Yeah.

Was I surprised by this? No, not really.

Was I offended? No. To be offended, I might need to think a litle more highly of the President (as a person), than I already do.

Is it possible he's a jerk? Yeah.

Is it possible he meant nothing by it? Yeah.

Is it possible he's a jerk, who meant nothing by it? Yeah.

Is it a slow news day if we are talking about this? Pretty much.

I really hate to break this to you all but that sign isn't exclusively Catholic, Obama is a Christian, and I see Catholics (good and Orthodox!) make the exact same sort of joke ALL THE TIME. This is just outrage in search of an excuse.
