The American flag stands for the right to exercise their freedom of speech AND religion. That is why churches have both flags, respsect for the rights this country entitles them to and the people who died to give them that right. It's called simple respect. The other Americans on my team asked me to find fireworks. I asked my roommate to come with me to help me find some. We found a man. He led us down an alley. Past two locked doors into a room with a lot of contraband. He wanted 60KMs for two packets of fireworks. I'd give him 30 for one. He said they came as a package. So I declined them. As we left and got back into they alley my roommate turned and said "blackmarket' I said 'no poo.' We did buy some watermellon. Sometimes it's the thought that counts.

SImple respect for the country that protects you. We do not live in a country that protects us. We live in a country that protects its own interests (as does every other country on this planet).
