You can see the habit from all different angles here, and you'll notice the same colors, veil length, and medal on the rosary cord. Plus the same seams on the veil and cord around her neck:

They're Brazilian, btw. Look like school teachers.

Oh hey, look: http://ocaminho.org.br/portal/fraternitas/estados-unidos

They have houses in the US!

Here's their youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/fraternidadeocaminho

And here they are dancing (keep watching): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9iRukSj_CY

Note the color of the cord. It's not the usual Franciscan white. It's like an undyed/unbleached version.

Did y'all do a reverse image search on it first? It would have saved a lot of time I think...

Look especially at the fourth-from-the-last here: http://ocaminho.org.br/portal/entrada-para-o-noviciado-2013.html

Lots of good shots of the habit here, too: http://ocaminho.org.br/portal/capitulo-geral.html

Ok. I'm done. I really need to get to bed!

(I do love a good mystery, though. You can't put the word "mystery" in a thread title and not expect me to go nuts on it. Alas, this mystery is SOLVED. :-P)

Good work, Curiosing! I wonder if those in the US speak English, it sounds like from their videos on utube they speak Portugese.  I will have to get around to translating their website one of these days.

One last post: I first tried to figure out what the letters on the notebook cover were, to indicate a language. I couldn't see them well enough and I'm useless at photo manipulation. Now that I know what order she's from, it does indeed look like the letters are a stylized "F" "O" "C". Compare them to the font at the top of their webpage, in the order's name.

(I am so ridiculously pleased with myself. ;-)

:-D

Brazilians do tend to be incredibly tall, btw.

Not any Brazilians that I know.  :hehe:

Their apostolate includes prison ministry, work with the poor, prostitutes and drug addicts.

They are really spread across the country, so they must be doing very well.
