I'm Tired Of This. Help Me Test Phorum Replacement.

I can add features and tweak until we like it. If we get to the point where we like it enough to switch--I will then attempt to migrate all members and posts over to the new system.

I got the activation ID, but then when I signed in, it told me my activation key was incorrect.. So, I signed in as who I

used to be and I got in.  I am confused, but not necessarily because of this.   :bananarap:  :spike:

I registered for WordPress and the whole 9 yards and it still won't allow me to log in.

Successfully made an account and activated. Sort of confused because I have my new account, but on the Phorum my screenname is the same.

I tried registering, and it worked, but instead of the space in my name it automatically substituted a " - ".  Even though it looks normal on the profile, I think?

OK, I think people are getting confused because they think the current phorum is somehow related to the new forum.

 

Right now, they are completely separate and have nothing to do with each other. If you register on the new forum it will only be a temporary test account and will be deleted if we ever migrate our current memebers/posts to the new system.

I think one thing we find confusing is a similar "front page" when we get to it and click the phorum it brings us back here.
