It's much faster but it's not visually attractive and seems to be missing a few features like status update and About Me in the profile. I added an Avatar but it didn't seem to appear anywhere.

 

We'll get use to it if we have to but I prefer this look here.

I would think that right now it is a shell version... dUSt will undoubtedly tweek it to get us what we want....

It'll take some getting used to, and needs a bit of polish.  And please, ditch the ginormous floating sidebar on the right.  That said, if it improves server performance and decreases headaches for you, fantastic.

OK, I think people are getting confused because they think the current phorum is somehow related to the new forum.

 

Right now, they are completely separate and have nothing to do with each other. If you register on the new forum it will only be a temporary test account and will be deleted if we ever migrate our current memebers/posts to the new system.

That's good to know. I was wondering what it meant when it asks for a "username" and a "name" and says that both are required. I just want my regular Apotheoun username.
