SilentJoy Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I wouldn't want to let it go to waste, and I'm not TOO worried about it going to waist... The person below me had their throat blessed this weekend.
PhuturePriest Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Why would you get your throat blessed? The person below me wants to give me an explanation to the above question.
SilentJoy Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Feast of St. Blaise. The priest was s'posed to hold blessed candles near your throat to protect against throat disorders and all other evils. On Sunday, the visiting priest said, "Well I don't have any candles so here's just a general blessing for anyone who wants their throat blessed." After church a funny old lady came up to me and said "What was THAT supposed to be???" Today the priest at morning Mass had some genuine candles and offered to give the blessing to those who wanted to come up for it. The person below me didn't know that, either.
Ancilla Domini Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Why would you get your throat blessed? The person below me wants to give me an explanation to the above question. It is customary to have your throat blessed on the feast of St. Blaise because, according to legend, before he died, St. Blaise healed a boy who was choking. The person below me HATES performing in front of audiences!

The person below me HATES performing in front of audiences! Negative. Performing/speaking in front of huge crowds is my favorite thing in the whole world. It always gets me really excited, and I'm always really relaxed and comfortable when doing it. The person below me is exciting for SNEAXMEGEDDON 2014!!!!!!!
Oremoose Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I have no clue what that is....#VoteCrowley....#Crowley 2014 TPBM Likes Studio Ghibli Movies!

PhuturePriest Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Not even close. I woke up late, and then slept for a few hours in the afternoon. The person below me loves Scott Hahn.
Oremoose Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I don't know. He seems abit too Protestant like from time to time and i have not read/ seen/heard enough of his work to really put my foot down. TPBM needs a pony ride
PhuturePriest Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I don't know. He seems abit too Protestant like from time to time and i have not read/ seen/heard enough of his work to really put my foot down. TPBM needs a pony ride You're joking, right? Scott Hahn is one of the most highly respected Catholic theologians of our time, and he is always 100% orthodox. I'd rather cuddle with lions. The person below me can't wait to read The Fault In Our Stars.
ChristinaTherese Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Already read it. TPBM didn't know that Scott Hahn went to Grove City College, and the school never mentions him in its list of distinguished alumni and the church he went to before he was Catholic strongly dislikes Catholics and probably doesn't like to hear his name either, but I'm not entirely sure on the church's count. (My brother graduated from GCC and has told me this. It's kind of funny. TPBM agrees that it's funny.)
SilentJoy Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 My dad dearly wanted to go to Grove City College but his mum made him go out of state to a college he hated just because that's where her favorite sister's son went. No, I didn't know GCC didn't mention Scott Hahn as an alumni. The person below me likes Curdie.
Oremoose Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I wish i knew what that was. TPBM wants loves to hate homework.
