With all the allegations coming up from different sports about all the drugs and exact surgical regimens, it's concerning. Just because you can play through pain, doesn't mean you should. I experienced it myself, with a PE teacher who, although I had a doctor's note saying I was not to participate in the class due to a sprain, insisted I do some exercise and I reinjured the joint.
