@dUSt Please make me not a church militant any more. I don’t trust that there is a place for me right now. Thank you.

There is always a place.. wether you realize it or not.  It will forever wait for you if needed.

I’m struggling with trusting that right now.

No one walks this world alone - may the Lord support you in your struggles until you find your place anew.

Be blessed.

What is this church militant. I thought it was just how many posts you have made. Sorry you're not feeling great. Some days I don't have any faith at all.

>If you have Church Militant the site recognizes that you are faithful and active in defending the Church.  duSt can be more specific than me on the matter.

Thank you. I hope that’s true. I’m worried honesty will disqualify me from conservative Christianity. It’s also been an intense spring. Lots going on. Lots that may or may not happen the way we hope.

It's not like conservatives give out membershipo cards - lol...  What the Lord asks is a sincere heart that seeks His face.  If you do this, liebral/conservative/other does not matter.  Seek Him, pay no head to distractions, and He will find you when you need to be found.  Trust Him...  not us.  HIm.

And yes, it is true, no one walks alone.  We are many who know this to be a fact, hard as rock, no one is alone.

Right. Just try saying you don’t like Trump around anyone who goes to Bible study. I would be lucky to be a simple libtard.

Thank you though.

Credo in Deum

Thankfully the only thing you need to be in the Catholic Church is orthodox. Titles like conservative or liberal mean nothing, and liking President Trump isn’t a requirement to be an orthodox Catholic.  Sadly the state of politics is a croutons shoot in the United States, but don’t lose heart. Our home is Heaven.  We’re simply on pilgrimage here in this beautiful purgatory.

I’ve missed enough liturgy over the last couple years drifting with family and location and stuff, and they are Protestant. I want to go back, but it doesn’t feel that easy anymore.

It may not feel that easy, but it actually is. 1- Unless you're going back to your old church, no one will recognize you when you walk in. You don't have a sign on your forehead that says "I've been away for a while." And you don't have to go back to your old church. You can walk into any Catholic church and attend Mass. You don't even have to show a membership card to anyone! 2- You will not be struck by lightning. I've been there and done that - if I had been struck by lightning, I'd have the T-shirt. 3- You know how to behave at Mass - when to stand, sit, kneel - so you won't stick out like a sore thumb. 4- You'll be glad you went. (5- If you really do smell of elderberries, you may want to spray on some eau de cologne before going.)

I have already been twice and have a father of confession who is out of town at the moment. The smelling of elderberries is Phatmass moderating my language. I still feel like I am living in two diverging paths of myself.
