[b]Saint Clinton?[/b]

Former President Bill Clinton may be no saint in many people's eyes, but don't tell that to Scott Ritcher.

The Louisville artist is causing eyebrows to raise with his "Saint Clinton" portrait — pieced together from several 'Sacred Heart of Jesus" images — showing the former commander in chief in a rather saintly pose, complete with halo, burning heart, flowing robe and empathetic expression.

The portrait, which has been featured in the Providence Journal and on MTV News, appears on everything from lunchboxes ($18) to posters ($22.50). These and other items can be purchased at www.saintclinton.com.

"Some people say I'm stretching the truth by canonizing Bill Clinton," Ritcher said in a phone interview yesterday. "But compared to our current president, this is absolutely a reasonable thing to do."

regardless of your feelings about his presidency (of which mine aren't very good, but still, its irrelevant), anyone who has committed public acts of adultery SHOULD NEVER be transposed onto the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, LORD AND GOD! :angry:
i mean i know i'm preachin to the choir here, but seriosuly, what is WRONG with some people?!? and the I heart abortion carp?!? for BABIES TO WEAR?! there should be a postscript on that, good thing my mother doesnt or i wouldnt be wearing this stupid bib!!! :irate:

Looks like Mr. Ritcher is taking a page out of his god's playbook...he doesn't mention those who say that what he's doing is an outright LIE.
