Frequently bring up "The War of Northern Aggression" in conversation. If anyone ever says the words "Civil War", always interject that "there was nothing civil about it."

I have been to a few re enactments and to the fields more than once and that war, at least to those silly red necks, isn't over yet. IMHO, lets beat 'em again.

Hehe.

And as a Northern person speaking EVERYONE of those would annoy me. I can't even take people who talk...like...this...it...drives...me...nuts. And Texas.

daugher-of-Mary

I always use sir/ma'am (got that from my good Southern upbringing ;) ), but living up North you have to be careful...some people take offense at being called sir/ma'am. At work I have to resort to calling folks "hon" when I'm serving dinner...drives me crazy. lol.

I don't like being called "sir." Until the day I am knighted or get my MD, I shall be Mr. Simmering. I also hate being called junior and Jake as well as a host of other names.

At least as I am not a tratioir Jennie.

So, Jake, you really hate being called "sir," huh sir?

Yes, Micah, I really hate it. I despise it. In fact, if you call me sir to my face I ignore you. And now I shall add a collary to that doctrine and expend it to cover the internet.

What's a tratioir ?

Anywho how can I be a "tratioir" since I didn't having anything to do with the Civil War, that would be like a Protestant saying I was part of the Inquisition or Crusades just because I'm Catholic.
