HavilyRose Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Okay-I need some input. My husband and I are expecting twins in May. We need some good, non-dorky-Catholic twin names. We already have one daughter her name is Anna Mariya. I come from a family of 17 and ALL of our names begin with the letter "H", and not one of the names is normal or spelled in a normal manner. (*cough cough* look at my name! ). They are both girls. Any suggestions?
let_go_let_God Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Well, without looking anything up, there are Mary and Martha. Congrats and God bless- LGLG
homeschoolmom Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Helen? Are you sticking with H or getting away from it?
homeschoolmom Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Too bad it's not a boy girl set... then they could be Benedict and Scholastica...
let_go_let_God Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 That would be cool, but I also go to the College of St. Scholastica with a Benidictine Monestary on campus. God bless- LGLG

ICTHUS Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 (edited) I'm not a Roman Catholic, but St. Agatha's martyrology is incredibly inspiring to me (she was tortured by having her breasts cut off and being dragged across hot coals because she refused to marry an unbelieving man, and because she had vowed herself to a life of chastity)...of course, Agatha is not a very common name today.. Madonna Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 (edited) I really like the name Grace. Someone told my friend Mary that if she got pregnant and named the girl Grace, she would be Mary full of Grace. HAHAHAHA. I thought that was a knee slapper. Edited December 29, 2004 by Madonna
