I remember all you guys and how we used to stay up on Paltalk untill like 3am and everyone used to sing and then I'd have to leave when people started talking about politics. Wow, it does seem like a long time. I haven't really been on here in ages...

Soldier4Him Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 *sigh* i remember it all. *vera saving the day with the "suicide thing" *the Vera-Jacob-Amber-Colleen complaining thread days (i loved just watching that happen!) *the dating sevice *the "party thread" with Immaculata singing us songs, and Jason having his slurpee in church and getting yelled at at Jennie tagging along for the ride, and the oreos!!!! oh the oreos!!!! *the thread where we quoted bible verses in order of book from Genesis to Revalation *the Crusaders of the Night (now THAT was an adventure!) sigh! much more. too much to mention.

When I made my come back, Iacobus, Vera, Immaculata, Aloysius, and Flowery were the best friends I had here. Now it seems to be Laura, Flowery, TCW, Lil Red, Cmom, rachael, HSmom, Colleen and FutureNun... StColette, I love her, but she hasn't been as big a PMer lately, and for good reasons. I used to think a lot of the adults were too mature to be lame like me...now I realize that some of the youngest members are the least lame and the adults are shockingly fun...

I miss some of the faith parts, I know that is kind of what sucked me into Phatmass. However, I wouldn't have fallen into it if PM didn't have the "other" fun elements. The thing I miss the most? There seems to be a real loss of wit, not saying that anyone isn't smart. But back in the day (i.e. over the spring and early summer) there where threads where the go back and forth (Mainly the Iacobus-Kiddo-Colleen-Vera-TCW) was so much that when I typed "LoL" there was true spliting sides. A lot of that wit seems to have been lost and I miss it.

I didn't post at all when I first came here because all I saw were '____'s random thought thread', 'Thread for ___' ....and first off, I didn't know people by their first names, second, even if I would have, it would've made no sense because most of them were all inside jokes. I don't believe I've ever posted an exclusive thread, the post about the_rev's b-day was just an announcement... but I'll try to watch myself form now on!
