tojo Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I'm just began learning Capoeira, an afro-Brazilian martial art with aspects of music and dance. Our mestre did the motion capture for Eddie Gordo in Tekken 3.
Birgitta Noel Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Tang Soo Do for years, got my 1st degree, but school got in the way and I never tested for my 2nd. Should have though Sigh, wish I could go back. I miss it.

zabbazooey Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Man you all are getting ripped off... I do the best martial art there is...Ioncomhlainn. Mixture of a lil bit of everything! I'm a 2nd degree black belt, but once I get my 5th degree, then I get my honorary title too. it's like ... the best ... ever.
Totus Tuus Posted November 8, 2005 Author Posted November 8, 2005 I also took a little bit of Brazilian Jujitsu (sp?) I was uncomfortable with the positions we had to learn for women's self-defense (mind you, this style is practiced on the ground). I decided not to take much of it.

Ash Wednesday Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I have a first degree black belt in taekwondo and hapkido. I don't know if I will continue, though. It's not a priority in my life and it depends on if I find a school that I like and is affordable in the future.
Sojourner Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 OK, every time I see the title of this thread, I juxtapose the "t" and the "i" so it reads "Marital Arts." TOTALLY different meaning. Totally.
