A Guy's Opinion

How about a piece of jewelry -- like a gold and diamond ring? Not a huge one that a pimp would wear, but like an anniversary ring.
Well, I know what I'd want from my wife, but this isn't the place to make that known.
Ok, so I'm not a guy... I just had to add in here, though, because Matt is really hard to buy gifts for, too, so I know how you feel! He's the type who, if he wants something he buys it so when it comes time to get him gifts it seems like theres nothing left to give him.
Make him a sweet dinner. Then spend some quality time with him.
Dinner and a boquet of roses (I always get white, they're special to Matt and I) is always good... I know, the guy is supposed to be the one to buy flowers, but with a hubby like mine (he doesn't think to get me flowers often... heck, I think he has twice in all the time we've been together lol) someone HAS to be the one to buy flowers, so if you get them you can at least pretend they are for you. lol And *ahem* quality time.... I don't think I need to say any more...

Yeah, that kind of quality time. lol
Get him some massage oil and then give him a massage.
Another EXTREMELY good idea, Bath and Body Works sells some really nice massage oils (I think for about 13 bucks a bottle), and if you get it for him he can give you massages, too. ;) Its a win-win deal. lol
Build him a cake or something.
Build. haha

I've got it. First you both get naked, but you both are wearing sailor hats. Then you get in a jacuzzi filled with pepto-bismol. You clip his toenails and he can shave your buttocks.

Buy him a brand new Smith and Wesson .357. Guns are to guys as diamonds or chocolate would be to girls. Then, for the romantic part, ask him to teach you to shoot it. Now that's a hot date (to be followed, of course by a good massage and lots of quality time). :P

Well, I knew someone had to say it, I was just hoping that the virgin wouldn't have to be the one to chime in.

A gun wouldn't mean a darn thing to me...

If it were summer, I think I'd just like to spend a day at the zoo or the ballpark (which luckily in Omaha are right next to one another).
A gun, definitely. And then give it to him naked. That would put me over the top . . . if I had a wife.
That may have been too much, BLAZEr...
