Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
but in response to micah's thread they did say that the Catholic Church was started in 313 AD
What a bunch of ignorant geniuses... ...the Edict of Milan was in 312 AD...
Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Ah...I'm banned...the cost of Truth...

toledo_jesus Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 well, I just submitted my registration. I told them I was Catholic. Will they let me in?
Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
well, I just submitted my registration. I told them I was Catholic. Will they let me in?
They let me in...try to be more tactful than I was. I recommend PMing members who were in that thread we were pointed to earlier...they had a bunch of lies about the Church posted and I think if we could privately get a few of them to open up about the possibility that they don't know what they think they do, we could get them to come here.

Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
they totally declined me.
Probably too soon.
Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I just got an email:
Sorry, we do not accept registrations/ memberships from Catholics. This must have been an oversight
Paladin D Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
Nah...you've just gotta show the right qualifications and have the right badges:
PORNOGRAPHY!!! EVIL!!!!!!!!!
Joseph Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I am now approved for Baptist Board....the funny thing is that I was denied membership back in April. I put I was 'Catholic' both times. I put my favorite verse as Matthew 16:18-19 "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Let's see what kind of trouble I can get into there
melporcristo Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Hey friends -- Just posted on RELEVANT MAGAZINE's forum. If none of you know what this 'zine is, check it out!! It's actually pretty non-denominational, when I say this, I mean it touches base on like all issues relevant to the Christian culture and more. So I posted on there and there is actually a few people who posted something about our Holy Father in the hospital ... SO, I jumped in, let them know to pray for him and his intentions and to come to phatmass cause they started to talk about the scandals and the papicy. Fun stuff thanks for having us do that dUSt!! gr8 idea
rachael Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
I just got an email: Sorry, we do not accept registrations/ memberships from Catholics. This must have been an oversight
what? are they afraid of the truth?
Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005
what? are they afraid of the truth?
Vincible ignorance...they are happier hating our religion with a deep-seated fear that they are hating something they should be loving...probably too scrupulous to look into Catholicism seriously, for the remote fear that they may be going "pagan"...happier hating Catholicism than they think they would be if they embraced it and were hated themselves.
