Fixxer Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 (edited) Here is a group which claims to be christain, and to want to bring christianity back into the united states. The problem?? THEY ARE LISTED IN THE SAME CATERGORY (Nationalists) AS COMMUNISTS, SOCIALISTS, AND YES, NAZIS! HOW CAN THIS BE??? if you wish to see for your self, visit http://www.falangist.org Also, which political party do you support? I support third parties since I consider the Republicans and Democrats just part of the corrupt system. It's too bad that, at this point, a third party candidate doesn't stand a chance of winning a major election because that's the way the system is designed. I'll be interested in reading more replies. - Daniel

Fixxer Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 what do any catholics think of this CFPA? I thought it looked pretty good, until I found out that they were considered facists
yeah, i agree with that, so i dont really support any parties. but, i voted for Bush after a lot of prayer. He is pro life and that is a non-negotiable issue. I get a sick feeling in my stomach thinking about Kerry. I dont really like BUsh, but watcha gonna do in this corrupted society?

The democrats and republicans have done a fine job of closing off the political process so that any alternatives are shut out. Really, it's quite a clever operation. Once in a long while someone comes along who challenges the two parties such as George Wallace, John Anderson, Ross Perot, etc. You might have strong opinions about some of these people, but that's the point. We need people of passion both in our Church and in our political system who aren't afraid to speak out. What steps do others feel would help open up our political system? - Daniel

I took a quick look at their extensive web site tonight. I'm going to look it over again when I have more time. I do think they address many important points in the Platform. I hope others check out the web site too so we can discuss it further. - Daniel
Fixxer Posted February 12, 2005 Author Posted February 12, 2005 I was browsing politics1.org (i think, .com, .net w/e) and i was reading up and visiting all webpages of every political party. Everyone one from Republicans, Liberals, Nazis, ect. Im trying to expand my political knowledge as much as possible, as well as find a party that meets my standards politically, but most importantly, spiritually. Ive become more aware of the anti-semetic , and especially the inti Judeo-Christain threat. Did you know that the Nazis, after exterminating all jews, were planning on going after christians and catholics? Scary  I think it is better to be informed, so we can stop this. Anyway, im wayyy off topic I think this party is looking really good to me. At first, I was a bit scared because they were grouped with Nazis The reason I ask people here what they think is because 1.) There are older wiser catholics here, and 2.) They have a better knowledge of the catholic faith. Im am not even yet confirmed and still have a lot to learn.
Good Friday Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Well, for one thing, this group advocates for the execution of homosexual activists...
We will say this...any group of radical homosexuals like "Act Up" that goes into a church and disrupts a religious service because they don't like the fact that the church teaches that homosexuality is wrong ought to face the most severe consequences and pay the price for such action. These "Gay Nazis" would never dare to go into a mosque and disrupt a Moslem service and we all know why.
Of course, the clear reason they would not go into a mosque is risk of death... obviously, by calling for "the most severe consequences," they are calling for the execution of homosexuals. There is also the implied exclusion of Catholics...
The CFPA welcomes Protestants as well as Orthodox, Coptic and Christians of other denominations...
One will note the obvious failure to mention Catholic Christians, even though the Catholic Church is the largest Christian denomination in the world. These would be just a very few of the problems with this party.
Fixxer Posted February 12, 2005 Author Posted February 12, 2005 (edited) catholics are welcome. And they do not condone violence against anyone. View the links page. Under religion we find:
Catholic League Greek Orthodox Church God and Science The Copts Concerned Women for America The Catholic Mind The Persecuted Church
we find this here on the home page:
The C.F.P.A. is not a hate organization and it does not condone acts of violence or hatred towards those of differing or opposing viewpoints and lifestyles nor does it condone racism or anti-Semitism in any form. Our organization has no ties or connection whatsoever to the Spanish Falange nor any other neo-Nazi / anti-Democratic groups who use the name Falange or Falangist. The C.F.P.A. believes in Jesus Christ, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and nationalistic loyalty to the United States of America.
As for the most sever consequences, they would most likely not be executed, but probably jailed. It is soo insulting to god to disrupt a mass, and anyone who does so, especially for protesting against god and the bible during a service should be faced with charges. Ive been browsing and on ocasion posting in their message boards, and they are a nice group of people. I find many of the same topics there as i do here, such as talking about lent, ect. Lounge Daddy Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 According to the Random House dictionary... Falange, Falangelist The fascist party in power in Spain during the Franco regime dude - you dont wanna support this
Fixxer Posted February 13, 2005 Author Posted February 13, 2005 (edited) if u would read, they are in no way tied to that pary, its about the 1st thing they say on their site. AtheistAlex Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005
can you explain why?
*sigh* Okay...but you won't like it. 1. Racial equality is an issue for them, and me. Republicans care, and there are racist Democrats, but I have not seen favorable evidence that the Republican Party is one more for equality in rights for minorities than the Democrats. Case in point, the Congress Republicans have been grumbling over the President's policy to allow immigrants to enter our country legally. I don't understand where the problem comes in here. 2. Taxes should go to those who can afford them, not to those who can't. 3. The environment is a place that must be protected, to preserve and enhance our lives, and the lives of our children 4. We both favor health care for us all, because if we care about each other, then we should protect each other. 5. I am strongly in favor of marriage for all consenting and sane adults. Am I fully in tolerant of homosexuality? No, but homosexuals are sane, consenting adults many of whom are citizens and deserve rights like me. 6. One of the most important, time after time, the Democratic Party have been one of the stauchest supporters of a democratic, not theocratic government in this country, and that makes them still high on my list.
Lounge Daddy Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005
if u would read, they are in no way tied to that pary, its about the 1st thing they say on their site.
