Fixxer Posted February 13, 2005 Author Posted February 13, 2005 (edited) because, falangist is a facist government. This grorup is facist. Mousolini and Hitler ruined facisms name by going on thei terror spree, and everyone jumps to the conclusion that this group must be evil as well. Its quite the opposite. If you subtract all of the evil deeds that Hitler carried out, he brought germany out of the depression, built the auto bahn, and really got his economy going very well. Read for your self. kdewolf2 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's."--J.C. The problem with political parties in general is that they tend to look out for their own interest more than the common good. Third parties offer fresh ideas, but they tend to be ideologically narrow-minded. It would be best, IMO, if the party-system were eliminated altogether in favor of independent statesmen who followed their own conscience and had loyalty solely to God and country. The Falangist Party looks good at first because it seems to embrace Christian ideals, but I would be wary considering the original Falangists were Fascists. Besides the whole tone of the website seems narrow-minded and intolerant. They don't seem to have much concern for separation of church and state or individual conscience. Personally, I'm registered with the Conservative Party of New York. www.cpnys.org
allis-challmers Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 there is not a true religious political party out there. I don't care what anyone says about the republican party. they are only doing the minnimum to keep the religious vote
musturde Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Haha BUMP. This party isn't facist, wrong party. This is the Kataeb. Or a poor representation of the Kataeb hahaha. Btw, Fixxer, how do you still have your sig?
zwergel88 Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I am definately a democrat. I have never voted, so I can't exactly say who I would have supported in the last election. I think that when I do vote, I will try to vote for the most pro-life democratic candidates. I plan to campaign for Bob Casey Jr. in the PA senate race. He is the most awesome pro-life politician ever! I think alot of people think democrats are bad, but really many of them are pro-life often in more ways than the Republicans. A good website that explains this is www.democratsforlife.org
SarahB Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 The only problem I have voting for Casey is that if he wins, then the Democrats could take over control of the Senate. Casey may be great as a canidate, but do you really want to contribute to a party that is pro-choice as a whole? Maybe not those who support the party, but the vast majority of canidates and those who are in office are decidedly pro-choice. I can't, for myself, justify voting for a Democrat when that would give the Democratic Party and edge. Just because he's a great pro-life canidate doesn't mean that we should vote him in and then have the Democrats as the majority. Not that the Republicans are much better, but at least the platform is anti-abortion. But in any event, I'm not a Democrat or Republican. I'm a member of the Constitution Party.
zwergel88 Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I would hope that democrats have a majority in the senate so that they can accomplish good things, however if an abortion issue came up, I'm sure that Casey would vote with the Republicans. A democratic majority has nothing to do with it.
SarahB Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 (edited) But it still puts them in charge, which means they can push their legislation about life issues through more easily, or at least keep badgering people with it. Not a situation I want to have to deal with until the next Senate elections in 2008. Edited August 15, 2005 by SarahB
