I have stated that the phrases, "the coming of the Lord," "coming on clouds," "the day of the Lord" etc. are used in Old Testament scripture as prophesy of the destruction of nations as God's judgement. There is nothing unique about this exegesis. It is very much within the Catholic tradition. As far as the varied interpretations of other denominations, they can speak for themselves. I'm Catholic.
