picchick
Weird bit of information: They were talking about myths about babies. One was that if you had alot of heart burn then your baby would have alot of hair or visa versa....I forgot which one..... The funniest one was that if I pregnant woman went over railroad tracks her baby would change from a boy to a girl. So you must of went over railroad tracks Anyways....I am so happy for you. I will keep you on my pregnant prayer intention list. I have 2 couples already. Prayers, God's Blessing, and Good Luck! Meg
Jake Huether
Thank you everyone! We've found a pro-life obgyn, but it's a guy! LOL. We'd really really prefere a woman... So the search is not over. But we've heard this guy is good. So we know at least there's someone. Thanks again! I love you guys!
Jake Huether
Here is the guys website. He's definitly not Catholic. He belongs to a non-denom church. It's cool that he makes mention of believing the fetus to be a human life. He won't perform elective abortions (which doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't recommend these patients somewhere else...). But it appears that he does promote contraception. Am I being to picky in wanting someone who's totally in agreement with the Catholic Church! God help us to make the right choice. Amen.
IcePrincessKRS
Yeah, picchick, they say if you have alot of heartburn you will have a hairy baby... I never got it with either and Genevieve has quite a bit of hair. Jake, I don't think you're being too picky. Ideally ALL doctors would be like that, unfortunately we have to take what we can get. Aside from a little Amish midwife that does homebirths around here (which I am still kind of afraid of but have come to terms with the idea that I probably won't make it to a hospital for the next one [whenever that one comes alone] so I may as well PLAN for a homebirth) the best we could find was a group of midwives who can't DO any of that stuff (but should the parents request it they can refer them to someone ).
