It's sad that some people can't get to adoration or even get to an ordinary Chapel to pray in front of the Tabernacle, even though they really really want to. I'll pray for you all the next time I go

Ah, adoration's not at all complicated. Benediction is a little more complex, but adoration is functionally no different from sitting in a church. You kneel, or sit, pray, or just stare as you like. Some people read. I'm sure I once saw someone doing homework... :D

(AAAAAARGH. I have GOT to move to a real city!!!)

Actually, if you excuse my predjudice if it is wrong, that might be becasue you may have a lack of understanding. Adoration is just prayer. Whether you pray a Rosary, talk to him, or find a holy hour book with prayers and scriptures. It is not hard, and certainly not intimidating.

There is no time, and nothing that Jesus doesn't want to help us with when we do it for His honor...

In fact, he still wants to help us even if we don't think it's for his honor!

Right on Pontifex. Any open church works wonders. Christ is still present in the flesh!

Anywho, I'm not saying give up your random posts (I do it all the time too!), I'm saying, think about steping back away from the comp to spend some time with the real deal.

Adoration is so simple,

Jesus holds you close to his Heart, and you do the same for Him.

It is a conversation of Love. :)

I go everyweek for sure and i would go more but we only have it every week.

Praying anywhere, not just in chapel is a good idea. THough the point is more that we need to seek Jesus first and the computer second.

One last little note, and this is an interesting one to think about

We do encounter Jesus through prayer and Adoration, but we encounter Him through our Christian brothers and sisters as well

God bless

I go to adoration at least once a week, it's kind of a drive. i pray the rosary, or Divine mercy chaplet, or just pray informal prayers while there.

Like previous posters said, I'm usually on phatmass while working or as some down time.

yay! and heck people...it doesn't necessarily have to be adoration. take the time to sit in silence and just PRAY.
Why do we all sit on PM at all hours of the day, for multiple hours at a time, when we could be sitting WITH CHRIST IN THE FLESH at adoration.
Because my three kids can run around and play while I'm on Phatmass. They can't while I'm at adoration.
The next time you plan to sit down at your computer to jump on phatmass to chat or leave random posts (we're all guilty of that, myself included), stop, walk away from the computer, and head to the nearest adoration chapel.
Or you can try to spend a little more time reading the prayer request phorum.
