War of the Worlds

I just saw this last night. So much secriuty and everything hehe. I did think the movie was very good and will do well. In my head i was kinda scared at some parts . I did one find one little mistake i think at the begging. when it comes out wednesday ill see if anyone else picks it up

How did you see it two days before it's release? Was it a special screening?

This movie looks absolutely amazing! I've read the novel, and the original film just didn't do much for me. Hopefully this will honor H.G. Well's sci-fi masterpiece.

i bought the newspaper today, thinking today was Wednesday, (oops, cause it was really Tuesday).

Matt might go see it, but I pretty much wait for everything to come out on DVD and get it from netflix. Its easier than taking kids or finding someone to watch them. (I don't trust anyone enough, really, I'm a paranoid mother.)

I might see it, but I haven't decided. I will wait until people I trust see it and tell me if it's any good. I hate to waste $6.25 on a matinee showing.

my mom is the paramount rep here in houston so see has to work at all the screening. like the movie hustle and flow she will see like 10 times before it comes out. working , like count people there , get critics thoughts and other peoples thoughts.

Just read the book. It's cheaper (if you get it online), supposedly better then the screenplay, and you don't have to see Tom C. Mapother IV.

I rate this movie an 8 out of 10, I really enjoyed the suspense and the creepiness of the film. My only complaint is that I wished I saw *more* of the military action against the aliens, seen shots of this chaotic event happening globally, and that the film were longer.

Good movie though.
