Some opponents of same-sex marriage -- including, notably, Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa. -- have argued that its acceptance will create a slipperly slope, leading to the sanctioning of other types of relationships, including polygamy.

Crawford Broadcasting radio talk-show host Paul McGuire says the ACLU "has declared legal war on the traditional family."
How is it we stand idly by....

Oh goodie. Now I can't flee to Canada either with their same sex marriage carp. I wonder though - are Muslim countries seeing the same types of changes as we see in what were Christian countries?

For the love of God...

For the sake of his sorrowful passion, I beg you, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Probably not at the moment. One need not wonder why they harbor distrust of our brand of "democracy."

democracy??? this is democracy?

I like the idea that CS Lewis portrays in The Screwtape Letters about democracy.

That book is turning out to be almost right on.

America is going to ruin. Soon there will be no more freedom at all and religion will go underground.

imorality is a threat to national security

the ACLU (asociation of crazy lunatics united) will defend anything- ehh its a man's right to rape a girl or a girl's right to be a prostitute or a person's right to kill- wouldnt be surprised if they took up cases like that but when real civil liberties are at stake like being allowed to freely practice religion- they are no where to be seen

Yikes, so long America.... Who's up to starting a new nation based in Catholic principles? We'll have Bennie 16 as our king! Between the supreme court, the ACLU, it seems like a few select liberals are hellbent on making America the "land of the free", provided that you're not Judeo-Christian. What would our founding fathers think?

This makes me sick ,our country is going to hell in a handbag and we Catholics are the only one who can save it from damnation and the righteous and justified hand of God .

God Bless America .

I am so sick of America right not.. well the people.. that I dont feel like celebrating Independence day at all..

But then again, What better than to celebrate it, but celebrate the founding principles of the nation too - i.e. God.

So i guess I am going to focus my 4th of July celebration on the founding principles and morals of this country.

In my view, the ACLU is something I both love and hate. Most of the people and groups they defend I personally don't agree with, but at the same time, they allow people to speak their minds. They defended the KKK's right to have a peaceful march in Chicago a while back and while I don't support (aka hate) the KKK, they exist and if they are going to be peaceful about the march then they should be allowed to march.

The ACLU is pretty much necessary to keep this country functioning as a diverse, multicultural place, because otherwise we'd probably jail anyone whose ideas we don't like. While we don't like their ideas we have to respect the fact that they don't like ours and that we both have to be able to speak our minds. If they didn't exist then the majority would completely shutdown any minority and everyone's freedoms would be at risk.

So I both love and hate them, at the same time, because I have to.

July 4th I’m going to join about 14 peeps from the ALL (American Life League – Rock 4 Life) for a morning Mass and then a march straight after Mass to downtown Grand Rapids
It’s gonna be hot – I’m excited for it

Since animals can't give informed consent, they are safer than people.

Guess what: polygamy is sloser than you think!

I guess Canada can hope for the silver medal in this competition 'cause the gold medal for polygamy is officially going to the Netherlands. Gotta love the moron's Olympics!

For some reason, I just want to fall asleep and wake up in a hundred years.
