Luthien Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I actually went to one this past Sunday, and all I found different about it was the fact that the youth sang, lectored, and were Eucharistic ministers... Its a full mass methinks, so I think it fulfills your Sunday obligation.

Socrates Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 If the mass is valid, it fulfills Sunday obligation. This is not to endorse Lifeteen or anything, but a valid mass is a valid mass.

Why not go to a lifeteen mass to check it out? I won't be able to go often, since I'm the only altar server at my home parish anyways.

Ora et Labora Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 What Jeff said. I sing Gregorian Chant at my Latin Mass and it is beautiful. Personally, I've always thought that the LTMasses were more of a social hall than a mass. And sometimes it isnt always good for teens, or lay people in general, to be "more involved" in the mass. Just give me the Priest, deacon and the altar boys... not girls, on the altar and I'm happy. But the ltmass is valid.
