Ash Wednesday Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 I have a lot of interesting stories. I've been to a lot of places around the world, used to raise hogs, broke the school record in the discus throw, been ran over by my mom driving her car (she didn't like me joking about it though), had my hair catch on fire, got a good ghost story, and selling encyclopedias door to door give you a lot of really INTERESTING stories, worked in a corn processing plant that same year and couldn't eat corn for a year... I've met Jay Leno, seen John Paul and I want to do a painting for Pope Benedict and give it to him in person. I'll probably finally stop spazzing out and start becoming more of a homebody in the next couple of years, after I turn 30 though.
Didacus Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 oh boy... no no no.... not going back there again... :mischief: maybe I'll get back to you next week....

sweetpea316 Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Hmm... this one is pretty weird... On my first day of college, they were having some kind of rally outside and were playing games. I decided to volunteer to play a mystery game. All the games before it were easy but I got stuck with the gross one. I had to dunk for Baby Ruth candy bars in a toilet full of Mountain Dew, corn, and chocolate pudding. Eww. But hey, I won an MP3 player from it!
StColette Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005
too funny!!
Funnest thing recently lol Jumping off a 12 ft pier into the Lake with my 5 yr old niece lol She takes after her auntie Jen

catholicflower Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Did Crossroads (Pro-life walk accross the Country) and the WYD Toronto (during witch I got lost and had to spend the night at a blind volunteer's house)
Guest Eremite Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 A friend and I once went to the Fleetcenter here in Boston at 6am, and waited in the freezing cold for concert tickets to go on sale at about 11. We weren't the first ones there; probably about 35 people ahead of us. And then they announced that it would not be first come first serve. They handed out raffle tickets to decide where the line would start first. Pure luck of the draw, the person in front of me won, and so I was the second person to buy tickets to the concert. I was standing right next to the stage.
philothea Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Hrmn... -Climbed onto the roof of a very large mall... while babysitting. -Spent a night in jail. -Front row at a concert of my favorite band, where the lead singer held my hand during the encore performance of my favorite song. -Watched shooting stars on a beach in Martha's Vineyard, as the luminescent jellyfish drifted in on the tide. Not sure what is most interesting! I'm sure there's stuff I am forgetting. Generally, I have a pretty boring life.
Semperviva Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 #1 Divine Liturgy in the Apocalypsis cave of St. John on Patmos on Pentecost '04. #2 Receiving communion there without being martyred...LOL..quite a feat, although martyrdom would have been cool too #3 Meeting "Bob" from Sesame Street while eating an ice cream cone at age 5 haha, wasen't too thrilled about it then but the requirement said interesting, and intersting is such an equivocal term LOL #4 WYD Toronto '02 #5 Reading philothea's post on her boring life, hahahaha
