cmotherofpirl Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Psalms 19 1. The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. 2. Day after day they pour forth speech, And night after night they display knowledge. 3. There is no speech nor language, Where their voice is not heard. 4. Their voice has gone out through all the earth, Their words to the end of the world. This reminds me of where Scripture says all creation is groaning.
ForHimAlone Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 "I will allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak to her heart." Hosea 2:16

MissScripture Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Mark 8:31-34. 31 He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days. 32 He spoke this openly. Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 33 At this he turned around and, looking at his disciples, rebuked Peter and said, "Get behind me, Satan. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do." 34 He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them, "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.
Isaiah41:13 Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the Lord, you god, who grasp your right hand; It is I who say to you, "fear not, I wil help you." Matthew 6:34 "Do not worryabout tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil." Psalm 27:10 "Even if my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me in." Philippians 2:6-11 "Who, thought he as in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taing the form of a slave, coming in human likeness and found human in appearance, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death even death on a cross. Because of this, God greatly exhalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth., and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
