Noel's angel

BONO IS NOT A CATHOLIC. His mother was a Catholic, yes, but he doesn't agree with organised religion-he says its because he saw how religion divided people when he was growing up.

Oh, it was the biggest mix-up
That you have ever seen.
Me father, he was Orange
And me mother, she was Green!

Laudate_Dominum

I suspect if you mix green and orange, you get pretty much poo brown. It's not a good idea.

Bono's a brown man. hehe

Maybe it's not really Irish - I dunno. I heard it a long time ago on a tape of songs for St. Patricks Day someone had put together.

Think of it this way...

Is what you're doing/listening to/watching/whatever drawing you further from Christ?

If you can't make that determination, then it probably IS...If you asked me if when I listen to that song - "Are you sinning?" - I would say absolutely not...

*shakes her head* I dont think that most music is "sinful" to listen to unless you actually react to it. Does it make youthink sinful thoughts? Do sinful things? If so, yes. If not...no.

In my opinion, it is a sin to listen to any U2 released after the "Joshua Tree". That was the last of their good albums, and everything since has been poppy, head-boppin' carp. They killed the rock inside of them.
