homeschoolmom Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'm just sitting here polishing off a package of Sunmaid chocolate covered raisins... I usually get Raisinettes at the theater (though I like Sunmaid better)... and I usually get a Coke or something... My kids like Gummy worms or Dots.... We've been going to the free summer movies, so I don't mind spending money on candy...
cathgirl Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I never get any food when I go to the movies. If I do then I finish it before the movie is done and then sit there wishing that I had more food.
Jaime Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Popcorn and a large bottle of pop! If its an exceptionally long movie, the bottle sometimes comes in handy.
Dudette Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 buying food at the movies is a rip off, I bring my own if I want some. Other than that, I don't buy food at the theatres.

jmjtina Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I eat popcorn with jalepenos. It's soooooooooo good. After I buy my popcorn, I add the jalepenos and shake it up. A friend adds chocolate pieces into his popcorn. That's REALLy yummy too. of course with a side coke.
Wynd Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 All the theaters by me charge like $4 for a small drink...so I get nothing!
MissScripture Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 (edited) Slushies! Yummy! I used to buy cookie dough bites...but then when I was on a vacation in London, I ate a pint of cookie dough ice cream after finishing a large meal and several desserts that other people couldn't...and 1/2 a pint of a different ice cream...so I kind of got sick...and I can't eat cookie dough anymore without getting that sick feeling again... ...although you probably didn't care to know that... kateri05 Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 ahhh the good old days when parents paid for movies and bought me popcorn <<wistful sigh>> : now, im too poor to go to the movies very often so when i do i can't afford food. plus i'm actually mildly offended at how much they charge for popcorn and soda. and how they eliminated small sizes. plus i have to pee even 20 minutes even when i DON'T drink soda so it ruins movies when i buy stuff!
Guest Eremite Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 It's all about the soggy nachos and coagulated milk. And goobers.
voiciblanche Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I like popcorn and those chocolate chips that have those white sprinkles on them. Pure sugar, my friends.
IcePrincessKRS Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Something sour and gummy (worms, sour patch kids, something like that). And a coke of course, and the occasional side of popcorn. But I haven't been in a movie theater in probably a good 6 months or more.
Soldier4Him Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 lots and lots of extremely buttery popcorn. *pause* dang. now i'm hungry.
Andrea348 Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 movie food is expensive. therefore, i usually smuggle in some kind of candy i pick up at wawa before i go.

One time, my friend and I brought a huge purse in with us and had a whole picnic lunch packed. Yum! But, I'm blessed to have good friends who work at nearby theatres and get me in for free. : Edited July 25, 2005 by sweetpea316
