Actually I got an A in that class. You could, or you could not do your homework. You could, or you could not take your tests. It was up to you to grade your own papers and you marked in the official registrar form what you thought your grade should be.

I had a Unitarian teacher last semester who would try to get in digs.

I had "Theology of the Body for Beginners" at my space (it was a long class, so I read it during the breaks).

He's like, "what's that?"

I told him and he looked at the other students and goes, "leave it to Catholics to listen to a bachelor's opinion on sexual morality!"

The only thing I can say...good thing God places some of us with such opponents to the faith...otherwise, who would be available to help evangelize?

I wouldn't have scored higher than a C.

I'd feel guilty for taking such an easy course and assume that had I gotten a good teacher, I wouldn't have done so well...

I bet that A was the class average grade too?

Lets see, no homework to correct, no tests to correct, no final grades to assign... Think the teacher was just being lazy?

I think laziness has more to do with anti-Catholicism than anything else...laziness leads to lack of discipline, lack of discipline leads to lack of obedience, lack of obedience leads to errant paths, errant paths lead to a need to defend one's errant path...

Oh, he would sit in class and philosophize himself into all sorts of heresies (such daming heresies that you and I would agree as then Catholic and Fundamentalist that they are heresies). He isn't 'stupid' as far as intellect is concerned, just extraordinally misguided.
