zabbazooey Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 So I was pumping gas into my car, and it's either my gas tank or the gas pump itself, but it did not stop pumping gas after it was full. So it sprayed gasoline all over me, in my mouth, my nose, my clothes. I am seriously NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!
photosynthesis Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 yeah, that's why you should let professional gas pumpers pump your gas, like in new jersey. it is sooooooooo nice to not have to get out of your air conditioned car in the summer to pump gas... or go out into the freezing cold in the winter. jersey rocks.

jgirl Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I know the feeling! About three years ago, I was getting gas in Pittsburgh on a really windy day. The wind blew it out of my car, but because that latch that makes it so you don't have to hold it was down, the hose started flying everywhere and sprayed me with gas. The worst part was that I had to pay for the gas, and it was probably a good 3 gallons I wasted before I caught the hose. The guy who was working was a bit of a moron and just sat there looking at me. The good thing is that the gas station was right across the street from a mall. The bad thing is that even though I changed all my clothes, my hair smelled like a gas station and I had to sit in a library doing research inhaling the fumes all night.

Almost no where around here has a full service gas station, so we always have to pump our own, and I hate it when stuff like that happens. I like the smell of gasoline but not THAT much!
