Minority population surging in Texas

You know, if 50.2% of the population are 'minorities', then doesn't that mean no one is a 'majority' anymore, since the whites can only take up 49.8% of the population?

I think I'll move to China where I can be thoroughly distinguished as a minority and start petitioning for my minority rights. Think I have a chance of getting anywhere?

Not to put too fine a point on it, but we're not really discussing race, we're discussing culture.

Race is genetic.

Speaking Spanish or having certain attitudes toward family, college, the economy, is cultural.

True just look at any cross-racial culture... My personal favorite is Deaf culture I personally know people from at least 3 racial backgrounds who share a common Deaf culture. :

Even if whites and non-whites are equal numerically, non-whites still constitute a SOCIAL minority.

And how many of those hispanics are illegal? Over 2 million in Texas is the number I think. Hmm. So the majority of legal residents of Texas are still whites. I'm not racist, but I am very opposed to people breaking the law and not paying taxes for the social services which they consume.
