One of the original main cast members (forgot who, but he's now a Democratic politician in Georgia), who was completely against this film. He claimed that other original cast members didn't like it as well. I never seen the original show or TV series, but it looked funnier than this load of garbage.

I haven't seen it, but it had much to live up to. It is like trying to do a new Knight Rider with Justin Timberlake . . . I mean, come on, it won't be the same.

By the way, how did they do those cliff hanger, mid-air jump, commercial brakes where the narrorator comes in with a question about the Duke boys getting out of the mess they are in?

They do them exactly like they do on the show, only they don't go to a commercial. They pause it, the narrator talks, and then they unpause it.
