cmotherofpirl Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 How about those 50's : http://kclibrary.nhmccd.edu/decade50.html When I was born there were only 48 states.
Laudate_Dominum Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Those crazy fifties.. wow, the average salary was less than $3,000 a year... I remember a good bit of the 80's and I can't say I liked it. It's sad that most of what I remember from the 80's is TV stuff. Cosby, growing pains, threes company, silver spoons, fat albert, webster, punky brewster, scooby doo, the hulk, family ties, who's the boss, the facts of life, night court, tonight show with Johnny Carson, Judge Wapner, thunder cats, voltron, transformers, gi joe, he-man and the masters of the universe!!! blah.. how lame..

My favorite character was Bull.
I just remember it because it came on past my bed time and only occassionally would I catch glimpses of it. It was just so darned mysterious; and I would often hear the theme song from my bed as I fell asleep at night. haha The show of all shows was not Newhart, or Carson, or Cosby or Cheers. The show of all shows was undoubtedly and indubitably MASH. Or was it the Smurfs?
