And my crappy job in the admissions office (stuffing folders and giving campus tours) isn't very many hours (so I'm still poor!). Oh, and I hate doing "homework"... so I don't usually do anything outside of class unless I'm getting a grade on it (i.e., a paper). Thus, I have lots of time outside of classes.

StColette Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Well, for right now I'm not working, though I did get hired they're trying to decide what store to put me in though, which when that happens I won't be on all day between M-Sat. Right now it's Summer also and 101 to 102 here in Louisiana everyday which cuts out hangin outside. Add in high gas prices and low funds for gas money lol that counts out trips all over the place. lol

(So if you know anyone looking to buy a house in Steubie....)[/quote] He is going to take the MEPS Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (for those not "in" with military lingo, its a series of physical tests), and from there we will know for certain if this is the direction we are moving in and when he will ship out for basic. Now as to where we would move... in the long run that is obviously up to the military, but in the immediate future the girls and I would move back to NY with my family while Matt is in basic, and for his advanced training for his career field that will depend on how long it is. If its over 6 months then after a period of time the girls and I can move to where he is and live with him, until that time we'll continue on in NY. If it were less than 6 months we'd have to wait until he was finished with the schooling before we could move again to be together. (I know some people think we're a little nutty for this, or just don't understand why, but we're very certain of the direction we're headed in. We truly feel this is where God is calling us. Why Army? There are a few reasons, but among them are the fact that the Air Force is limiting their enlistment right now because they have so many people signing up, the Marines do not have their own medical personell, etc. Matt feels like the Army is best suited to our needs, and I agree.
