HomeTeamFamily Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Pham i need your help in a major way......my 21st birthday is coming up and i am celebrating with my gf and a few friends the only trouble is, i dont know what i want to order to drink as my first alcoholic drink so what i need from you is either what your favorite drink is or what you think a good drink to start out with would be.....it can be anything, beer, mixed drink, whatever just tell me what its called, whats in it and what i could expect it to taste like ill let you know now, that i dont think i like really sweet or very fruity drinks....and would prefer something that is served cold or over ice or what have you my birthday is on friday so yall have until then please help pham!!!!!

IcePrincessKRS Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Gin and tonic (or 7 up) is a good one. It tastes like.. gin and tonic, a little lime-y. If you don't know what Gin tastes like I'm afraid I can't describe it any better than that! Vodka and cranberry juice is also really good. It tastes like Cranberry juice with a swift KICK. hehe My first legal drink was a Tom Collins. (Its usually made with gin, lemon juice, tonic, and a little sugar). There are a multitude of awesome drinks out there to try. Take your time. lol Oh, and DO NOT try a Cosmopolitan unless you are at a really good bar or restaraunt that knows how to make them. If made wrong they taste like carp.
