Women do run the church, at least on the parish level, ask the priest at my student parish, all he does is the sacraments, Gloria runs the show, lol

yeah, that's a shame. We have a despotic Campus Minister at my school too. She discouraged my friend from entering the convent telling her not to "waste her life." She's personal friends with the sweater sister who is director of campus ministry for the diocese.
