Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 I can repost it with just metal if you'd like, although I don't see the purpose of that...
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 Manson fails as a musician and as a human being.
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 Why, I'm Chris Zewe, of course. Who are you to tell me what I can and can't judge?
Brother Adam Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005
Manson fails as a musician and as a human being.
Figured that was music you people (as you put it) listen to.
Chris of Zewe Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 No, mallgoths and metalheads are two entirely different cliques. In addition, one fades after high school, and the other is more or less a way of life.
avemaria40 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I listen to alot of music but there are some heavy metal songs i like, like Black Sabbath sounds pretty good, so does Judas Priest, and Metallica
track2004 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I really like Rage Against the Machine.
Fixxxer Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 got some weird bands there man, almost death metal. i like to listen to bands where i can actually understand what they say and they just dont scream lyrics
Socrates Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005
I really like Rage Against the Machine.
They were a bunch of annoying commies. They had a few cool hooks, but promoting Marxism is never cool in my book.
Chris of Zewe Posted September 18, 2005 Author Posted September 18, 2005 RAtM isn't metal... Fixxxer... most of those were not death, actually. I'm more of a kvlt BM person anyway.
DemonSlayer Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I listen to metal of course, mainly Christian though, although I've started to listen to some non-Christian bands recently. Christian: As I Lay Dying The Showdown Haste The Day Underoath Winter Solstice Demon Hunter Nodes Of Ranvier Bloodlined Calligraphy Sylvan Fortress Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster Norma Jean Inked In Blood Eterna Living Sacrifice Soul Embraced Non-Christian: Unearth All That Remains The Agony Scene Killswitch Engage Mastodon Comeback Kid Obituary Pathogen
Chris of Zewe Posted September 18, 2005 Author Posted September 18, 2005 None of those are metal, except Mastodon and Obituary...
p-hawk Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I think determining which musical genre-clique one falls into splits more hairs than the angels on the head of a pin canard.
BC4Life Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 i think most metal blows. 80s hair metal isnt so bad tho with maiden and what not. i listen to skater/surfer punk, hardcore street rock n' roll and a lot of ska
DemonSlayer Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005
None of those are metal, except Mastodon and Obituary...
What on earth do you mean by that, do you even know them all? I didn't even list the hard rock bands I like, they're all either metal or hardcore.
Dreamweaver Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Who died and made Chris the "King of Metal"(tm)? Yeah, I like metal, but I lean more towards the older, power and progressive stuff. Maiden, Dream Theater, Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, Stratovarious, Sonata Arctica, Judas Priest, Dio, yamma yamma yamma.
