turelie Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005
This joke was sent to me this morning: A man said to his wife one day, "I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time". The wife responded, "Allow me to explain". God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me; God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!
thats hilarious!!
Catholictothecore Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005
The other day, I was helping a BEAUTIFUL woman. She was so pretty, I wanted to cut myself. It's rude to stare, though, especially in customer service, so I had this look of fear on my face, which she reciprocated. We ended up looking at each other something like this but scared.
Try giving a bed bath to a 24 year old who can't use her limbs. THAT's tough.
theculturewarrior Posted September 19, 2005 Author Posted September 19, 2005 That sounds so tough that I'm going to pray for you!
Catholictothecore Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Well, it's not something I actaully have to do as of yet. It's sad, though, cause there are a lot of young people in long term care facilities. The bad part is that, yeah, things exist that really are quite bothersome. The best news is they can get XBOX and GAMECUBE if they ask for it! The bad news is I'm taking care of them and can't join them in the game!

Well, some do. There was a news article on MSN or something like that which the link I had no longer works for but it was saying that geek was the new cool. I wouldn't mind a librarian provided he met certain other qualifications. And philothea, I haven't finished a novel for fun in... three years or so.
