Akalyte is doper though, don't you think?

It has more of a Catholic meaning. MC makes me think of MC Hammer too much.

Also, Akalyte goes real good with Era Might, on the mic.

I like the name Akalyte, but not for MC Just.

Once you establish a name, you should stick with it, IMO. MC Just is a household Catholic name now. For example, although 2Pac technically changed his rap name to Makaveli, nobody speaks of Makaveli except as an alias. He's still thought of as 2Pac.

But, I guess if he changed it, we'd get used to it eventually. But I'd still always think of him as MC Just.

yea you have developed rapport for MC Just...Akalyte is a lot harder to remember too. But if you really want to keep it, go ahead... it is YOUR stage name after all

as for the hammer thing, you counter that with just...lets people know the difference and makes a statement that you do the same thing but you do it in Christ's name.

[quote]An acolyte is a cleric promoted to the fourth and highest minor order in the Latin Church, ranking next to a subdeacon. The chief offices of an acolyte are to light the candles on the altar, to carry them in procession, and during the solemn singing of the Gospel; to prepare wine and water for the sacrifice of the Mass; and to assist the sacred ministers at the Mass, and other public services of the Church. In the ordination of an acolyte the bishop presents him with a candle, extinguished, and an empty cruet, using appropriate words expressive of these duties. Altar boys are often designated as acolytes and perform the duties of such.

It is not a good idea

he has already established a name and a brand...he should not change it to something that is hard to remember...and the average person doesnt know what it means. He could have it as an alius...but I see it as Point 5 Covenant changing their name...we wouldnt do that. I changed my alias to Moses the black but that doesnt effect our brand name of Point 5 Covenant...which is what we sell.

keep MC Just...but have the alias of acalyte and even refer to it in your raps.

How about THIS...

DO WHAT YOU WANT - if that means changing your name, go for it...

Both Flip AND Merlin changed their names and it's all good...

If you feel that you want to take your "stage name" in a different direction, go for it!
